Teknion Furniture

We are proud to represent Teknion in Alabama & Middle Tennessee.

Why do we love Teknion?

While the furniture industry has shifted toward out-sourcing, Teknion still makes things. 85% of their component parts are created in-house within North America. This gives Teknion the ability to control every element of production, gives free rein to creativity, and allows for exceptional custom capabilities.

Because of this, we don’t just sell Teknion. We are Teknion Innovators. We believe anything is possible and are passionate about partnering with Teknion to create custom solutions. Adjustments others call “specials” are just the way we work.

Making furniture has a big impact on people and the planet. Teknion has worked steadily to minimize the footprint of their company and products, to reduce and reverse negative impacts-fully aware there is no single answer, no solution without trade-offs. They know that sustainability is a journey, a process that asks all of us to engage with big ideas and complex problems as part of an ongoing challenge.

Since it’s founding in 1983, sustainability has been intrinsic to the Teknion culture. They carefully consider how they design, make, and ship their products, making every effort to trace materials and conserve energy, to design-out waste and build-in longevity.

Because of this, we can feel proud about the products we are selling and the lifecycle impact these goods have on humanity and the natural world.

Design permeates everything Teknion does — whether it’s their dedication to Designing for the Environment, their relationships with worldwide designers, or the way their product designs are always intended to be future proof.

Beyond furniture and textiles, design informs the way they think, the way they communicate, and how they serve the design and architecture community.

Because of this emphasis on design, we feel a true kinship with Teknion. Since our founding, design has also been at the center of our business, shaping the way we work, the services we offer our clients, and the way we engage and collaborate with our industry at large.
