Program management and consulting firm KMS relocated their office to the historic Lakeview District in Birmingham. Their new facility occupies a historic building dating back to the 1800s. After renovating the building and restoring the exterior architecture, the interior space was designed to encourage innovation, integrity, and collaboration. Due to the nature of their business, creating an array of small meeting spaces, training space, and entertainment space was crucial. In addition, workstations and offices were positioned to maximize both daylighting and collaboration. Aesthetically, the space aims to achieve a light, modern, and comfortable environment for both employees and guests alike.
