After a thirty-year tenancy in a Brentwood office park, Capitol Christian Music Group relocated their Nashville operations to a T3 building in the Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood. The urban neighborhood, innovative building structure, and dynamic office interiors aim to affirm CCMG as the leader in the faith-based entertainment industry.
Hospitality, flexibility, and collaboration were three main themes of the space. The reception area with adjoining coffee bar, work lounge, and outdoor terrace provides a multi-purpose welcome center and entertainment space. From daily impromptu social gatherings to more formal music performances by CCMG talent, this dynamic, open concept sets the tone for Capitol’s casual, collaborative culture. In contrast, smaller spaces like listening rooms and the Executive Lounge support more intimate hosting environments for private gatherings.
Providing employees with a flexible, hybrid work model that embraces free address and part-time remote work was also a significant design consideration. Workstations and private offices had to support this level of flexibility, mobility, and security. All desks were height-adjustable, storage components were outfitted with security keypads, and monitor arms were provided as well as secondary desk lighting to provide a range of ergonomic support.
